The Artist Faculty and Mentors of CME
Drawn from the world’s pool of distinguished performers and respected pedagogues, CME’s artist faculty offer unparalleled career advice, individually tailored mentorship and professional opportunities. Our Young Artists are nurtured and encouraged to interact with multiple artists to seek their guidance and perspectives
CME was established in 2010 by Steinway Artist and Rutgers University Professor, Min Kwon, with the desire of making a difference in young pianist’s education, career paths, and ultimately, lives by supporting and mentoring them through the years of uncertainty between degrees or after their schooling.
Gratefully, CME quickly grew and its programs such as Vienna ConertoFest were sought after, and attended, by participants of other disciplines: violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, voice and conducting. Dr. Kwon is grateful for this evolution and expansion. We are now offering grants in other areas, strings in 2015 and voice in 2016. Our programs and concerts now showcase musicians of all instruments.
We will be shortly announcing our Artist Faculty in Strings, Winds, Voice, and Conducting. Stay tuned!
